Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t find what you need, reach out directly—we’re happy to help.

1) I’m a complete beginner. Where should I start?
Start with Wheel Throwing 101 or Handbuilding Basics. Both cover studio safety, clay prep, and core techniques at a welcoming pace.
2) Do you provide tools and clay?
Yes. General tools and clay for class projects are included in the fee. You can bring your favorite tools if you have them.
3) What should I wear?
Wear clothes that can get messy and closed-toe shoes. We provide aprons. Tie back long hair and remove jewelry during wheel work.
4) How do cancellations and refunds work?
Cancel at least 72 hours before your class for a refund or credit. Within 72 hours, we offer credit if we fill your seat. If we cancel, you can choose a refund or reschedule.
5) Can I keep my work?
Yes. Class fees include firing for pieces made during the session. Additional firing services are available for larger projects.
6) Are there age restrictions?
Most classes are for ages 14+. Family sessions welcome younger participants with a guardian. Check the catalog listing for specifics.
7) Do you have accessibility accommodations?
Yes. Our studio has accessible entrances and adjustable wheel stations. Contact us to discuss accommodations before booking.
8) How long until I can take pieces home?
Expect 2–3 weeks for drying, bisque, glazing, and final firing. We notify you when your work is ready for pick-up.
